Seeing as we are now more than half way through the year, I thought I would share these things with you and write about whether or not they were achievable targets or not, but also so you get a little insight into my life.
1. Get a job
Yes I have a job. I’m working part time at my Dad’s firm, but I also decided that I would start studying again and I have been doing a home diploma to become an Event Planner since May.
2. Pass my driving test
This goal took a little knock (literally) a couple of weeks ago when I was hit from behind during one of my final lessons (3 days before my test!) but as I had a neck injury I wasn’t able to turn around enough to take it. So it’s been booked for later in the year (I’m not telling when!)
3. Get a car
Well my brother moving to America has turned out well for me! I may not have my licence yet but I will be having his little black Clio when he moves to the States. Sorry to see him go, but happy I get a car out of it!
4. Move out of home
This is nothing against my parents! I love living at home but at nearly 25, I would like to live in my own little house or flat.
5. Get a pug
This is probably the most unrealistic of all my 2013 goals! I am desperate to get a black pug, but living at home means no for the moment. Maybe once I’ve moved out…
6. Start playing Badminton again
I used to play Badminton a lot at school and I really enjoyed it. The boyfriend plays squash and tennis sometimes (both of which I can’t. Squash terrifies me!) so I thought it would be a nice thing to do together. However the court times at my gym are rubbish so we haven’t got round to it yet!
7. Take alphabet photographs
I’ve been wanting to do this for years. I have a few, but I’m hoping by the end of the year I will have finished!
8. Go to Thailand
9. Go to Japan
These two places were on mine and my boyfriends summer holiday list. But family circumstances changed and we’re now all going to Florida together with my family.
10. Get an iPad
Umming and ahhing about this one still. May have a serious look when I’m in America. Otherwise I’ll keep entering competitions to win one!
11. Loose some weight
I’m not one for dieting, but I do fancy loosing just a little bit of weight off my middle. More tone up rather than loose weight really. I have lost a little, but the toning still has a way to go. I’ll keep you updated on this one!
13. Perfect my cake decorating skills
This is something that I know I can’t achieve in a year, but felt I wanted something to work on. I’ve been really pleased with the last few cakes I’ve made, but I’ll definitely be working on some more complicated designs soon!
13. Catch a fish
I did it! In fact I did this in January and I was very happy (as you can see!)
Did make any goals to achieve this year? Have you achieved them or are you still working towards them?
