Company Style Blogger Awards

On Wednesday last week I went up to London to attend the Company Style Blogger Awards. Held in the very hipster area of Shoreditch, all the shortlisted bloggers were invited to attend an evening of cocktails, crafting, sushi and much more! I wore a black silk jumpsuit from Reiss and did my nails with Revlon Moon Dust for a bit of glitz!

I met up with Alex from Bambella and we hopped on the tube up to Shoreditch to meet up with the lovely Ella from helloellaxo. After meeting up at the station we wandered (read went the wrong direction to start off with) to the venue. After queueing for a little bit and meeting up with some other lovely bloggers such as Tolly from Tolly Dolly Posh, we were ushered into the venue.

Glasses of Prosecco lined the bar and we were encouraged to help ourselves, something us three had no trouble with! After the obligatory makeup touch ups and a quick outfit change for Alex we started to wander around the venue.

With Pinned It! Made It! in attendance we were able to draw out our crafty sides by decorating a pair of sunglasses each. I chose the cat eye sunglasses and went with some simple gold studs.
Caroline and Clare from The Vintage Cosmetic Company were there and it was lovely to see them again.  There was a long queue of girls all waiting to see which Vintage Girl eyelashes they would be!
After cramming as much sushi as we could into our mouths, we headed to the stage area for the awards.

Unfortunately there were no shiny awards for La Vie Sophie, but I was more than happy to concede to the fantastic Becky from Milk Bubble Tea. Plus some of my favourite people did win awards, including the beautiful Ella and Meg from Wonderful You. So there was cause for celebration after all, and celebrate we did!

Doesn’t Ella look gorgeous (and deliriously happy!)? After many photobooth sessions, more sushi and getting our hair ‘did’ by the Paul Mitchell team, we waved goodbye to Ella. As all the other bloggers started to leave, Alex and I stayed behind, dancing the night away until the lights came up!

Unfortunately my phone and camera both died during the evening so I only have a few pictures from the evening, but I did manage to get on of Alex and me in front of the Company banner (of course holding a glass of bubbles!) and I also have the photobooth to rely on!

We were gifted with a fantastic goodie bag, brimming with all sorts. Rings from New Look, popcorn from Propercorn, a beanie, hair products from Paul Mitchell and others, Elmis skin care, lipstick from Soap & Glory and much much more! Thank you so much to Company for hosting the event and for a great evening. Also have a look at this video, anyone you recognise around 1.12?

I also want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who voted for me in the awards. It meant so much to me to have your support and it was a great honour to even have been shortlisted. So thank you.
