If you haven’t heard of it before, Dainty Doll is the brainchild of Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud fame. Being a porcelain lady herself, Nicola has designed a range of makeup with us paler girls in mind. I’ve been looking for a pink cream blusher for a while now but have been struggling to find one that isn’t too pink for my cheeks. I get a little redness, especially on the apples of my cheeks, so the last thing I need is something that accentuates this.
I chose ‘Paper Roses’ cream blusher because although it looks very pink in the compact, all the reviews I’ve read about it say it comes out very light and much more a rosy pink. At the moment it’s down to £1.99 on Fragrance Direct which is an absolute bargain as it’s normally £13.50!
Oh and cute packaging is a big plus in my book…
Browsing through some of the other Dainty Doll products I came across a pale pink lipstick called ‘In His Kiss’. Again a great bargain, it was £1.99 when it should have been £12.50. Sadly Fragrance Direct have run out, but it is availble here.
It looks quite coral in the picture above, but it’s more of a pale pink, what I would call ‘my lips but better’.
I’ll definitely be taking more notice of the Dainty Doll range in the future – I’ve got my eye on another lipstick already!
