Emma Hardie Body Treatment

On a recent browse around TK Maxx, I came across something that really made me excited. Spotting the name ‘Emma Hardie’ I pounced on the product in question and found the ‘Natural Lift and Sculpt Body Treatment’.

With the colder Winter weather already making an appearance, I wanted to treat myself to a decent body scrub to help keep my skin smooth and hydrated. Described as ‘a refining and deep cleansing body scrub and mask’ I thought this sounded just like the product I needed. Now this normally retails at around £36.00 so I was delighted to find it for only £10 in TK Maxx! Bargain!

This is a pink mud/clay based scrub, with Himalayan salt to detoxify and organic red corn to exfoliate. It has a gentle fragrance that is pleasant and slightly rosey. The texture of the scrub is thick and it feels like a good quality moisturiser.

This can be used as both a scrub and a body mask, just by applying it differently. To use as a scrub, you simply apply a generous amount over the whole body, concentrating on areas of rougher skin, such as your knees and elbows before rinsing it off with warm water. To use it as a detoxifying mask, you apply the product to the areas you feel need the benefit and leave for five minutes before rinsing off.

I’ve used this a few times now, both as a scrub and a mask and it’s left my skin feeling incredibly soft. If like me, you suffer from dryer skin during the Winter or even from those little bumps that plague most peoples’ upper arms, this product is for you. Unlike most body scrubs this one doesn’t make you feel as though you’re being scrubbed within an inch of your life, but it gives you the same results!

This is definitely a product I’ll be keeping close at hand this Winter!

I'm really enjoying using it at the moment! When it runs out I might go old-school and try a homemade one though! x
