Irresistible Me Hair Extensions Review

Irresistible Me Hair Extensions Review
To say I’m excited about sharing this review with you is an understatement.

You see I am the owner of a very fine head of hair, and by fine I don’t mean good, I mean thin. Don’t get me wrong I’m by no means loosing my hair or thin on top, but my hair is very fine and to be honest pretty straggly even after a good cut. I’ve always lusted after long, thick locks (you always want what you don’t/can’t have!) and I’ve researched extensions a few times, always dismissing them on the basis of price.

So when I was contacted by Irresistible Me Hair Extensions and I’m not sure I could have replied fast enough or more enthusiastically.

After some back and forth with the very helpful Adriana at Irresistible Me we decided that the best extensions for me would be the Remy Hair Silky Touch in Light Brown* with a length of 22″ and weight of 200g.

They arrived a few days later and I was SO excited to try them out.

On opening the box you find a plastic packet, divided into two sections. You open the smaller section first and test the colour against your own, this way if it isn’t a match you haven’t opened the main packet of extensions and they can be resold.

Luckily for me the colour was a perfect match! On opening the box it looked like there were only a few clips and I was a little disappointed but that all changed once I’d opened the main packet.

All together you receive ten wefts in the following configuration:
x1 4 clip weft
x2 3 clip wefts
x5 2 clip wefts
x2 1 clip wefts
x3 extra clips

Even though I needed to wash my own hair and it had been scrunched up all day, I was desperate to try the extensions there and then. After a few YouTube tutorials I began putting the wefts in and by the time I’d finished I was seriously impressed with my handiwork even for a first attempt!
I promptly ran down the stairs and declared to Mr LVS that I was a mermaid.

A few days later, own hair washed, and extensions properly brushed and clipped in, Mr LVS and I headed to a party. I was a little nervous that friends may think I looked ridiculous but I had nothing but compliments, including amazement that the extensions matched my own hair colour perfectly.

Having researched hair extensions quite a bit I’d say these are really good value for money. The quality is exceptional, colour match is perfect and the price is right too. Yes, they aren’t cheap but when you factor in the quality and how much hair you’re receiving, I think you can see the value.
The only little complaint I have (which is barely a complaint and is probably just me being a wuss) is that my head hurts a little after a full day wearing the extensions. Now this could just be how I’m putting them in so if you have any advice please do let me know!
Overall I am ecstatic with my Irresistible Me hair extensions and will even be taking them with me to my bridal hair appointment. If you’ve ever tried Irresistible Me extensions let me know as I’d love to hear what you think of them.

Wow that does look like a perfect colour match! I know what you mean about extensions being sore after wearing for a while – there must be a way to clip them in so that they are more comfortable but I don't know how to do it! I'm hoping that someone will comment with a tip about this! 🙂
