Perfume Samples Haul

I seem to have aquired a fair few perfume samples recently. I love perfume samples purely for the fact that they’re miniture and I have a bit of a thing for tiny versions of products (don’t let me loose near the travel section in Superdrug…) But they’re also really handy for leaving in your handbag for those times when you need a freshen up.

So I thought I’d share with you my latest samples and let you know which ones I’m loving at the moment!

Samples of perfumes including: Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood, Aura by Swarovski, Roses De Chloe by Chloe, Womanity by Thierry Mugler, Pleats Please by Issay Miyake and Hugo XX Woman by Hugo Boss
Top to bottom:

My absolute favourite of all of these is Naughty Alice by Vivenne Westwood. This fragrance is musky and slightly floral. It’s a scent that lasts all day, and well into the evening. For those of you who prefer a lighter scent during the day, perhaps leave this one for the evening.

I’m also loving:
Aura by SwarovskiA strong scent with notes of white musk that last all day and well into the evening. An elegant fragrance.
Roses De Chloé by Chloé – Typical of Chloé perfumes, this is light and fresh. The rose scent is lovely, but just a tad artificial for my nose.
Pleats Please by Issy Miyake – A really lovely scent, packed full of floral notes and hints of vanilla. This is another really fresh perfume, perfectly light for daytime.

I’m not such a fan of:

Womanity by Thierry Mugler – I find this overpowering. It’s a strong, musky scent with almost a coconut tinge to it. I’ve tried it a few time now and I just can’t get used to it.
Hugo XX Woman by Hugo Boss – This is a perfectly unoffensive perfume but my qualms with it are that it smells generically Hugo Boss. I suppose that’s not a bad thing but I find it difficult to sense any difference in some of the newer fragrances.

What perfumes are you loving at the moment?
