Revlon Just Bitten Kissable – Honey

After hearing so much about the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable lip products and especially after reading Rosy Chicc’s review I decided to pick one up when I was next in town.

After swatching them all in Boots, I went for ‘Honey’.

Honey is a soft pink, with brown undertones. Use it lightly and it’s quite pink, just showing up a little more than the natural lip colour, a little heavier and it gives a pink brown gloss.

The balm has a peppermint scent to it, which weirdly reminds me of those gel pens I used to have at school! It’s not unpleasant at all and I’m not sure if it’s just me, but it seems to give a cooling feel when you apply it.

I like this colour, but it’s nothing special. I also don’t think it has too great a lasting power. I know it’s not meant to have the longevity of a lipstick as it’s only a balm, but I found it was fading fast after half an hour (without eating and drinking). I have heard that some of the darker and brighter colours last longer, so maybe it’s down to the pigmentation? As much as I think it’s a pretty colour and feels nice and hydrating, I don’t think I’ll repurchasing this one.

Do you have any of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable range? Do you like them or do you agree with me?
