#TheWinterProject – Winter Accessories

I recently found on twitter a little blogger project called #TheWinterProject. Every week, bloggers are given a Winter themed topic to write about and the idea is for all the bloggers to publish their post on the same day each week (Tuesday). I was a little behind in finding out about the project which is why I’ve missed Week 1 and why this post is today!

Anyway, this week’s theme is Winter Accessories, and I’d like to share with you my favourite one of all, the leather glove!

I’m a big fan of leather gloves, and I’m constantly adding to my little collection. The current number stands at 6, but I’m hoping a little holiday shopping in the States will be making that number go up!

Leather gloves are a really chic way of dressing up an outfit. They can add a pop of colour to a plain outfit and they are surprisingly warm too! You can find them in a plethora of different colours, and with different linings too. For example, the brown gloves above are lined with rabbit fur, whereas the teal ones are lined with cashmere.

My favourite place to buy them is Sermoneta in Rome, which is where all but the black and pale pink gloves are from. Luckily (or unluckily actually!) I no longer have to wait for a trip to Rome, as Sermoneta now have stores in Burlington Arcade and Knightsbridge!

However if you’re not planning a trip into London anytime soon (or Rome for that matter!) than here are some options from Asos.

    Yes Lauren you should!
Thanks, it's starting to get cold enough for me to wear them in the car now, no one likes a cold steering wheel!

    Sophs x
